Max Message Rate (Downstream) limit for Licensing Models

    Hi All,
I was going through the licensing model offered by Lightstreamer to evaluate the right model that suits my requirement.
I have an application that sends out 20MBytes per second. Can i send this 20Mbytes in one message if I choose a model with Max message rate (Downstream) 1?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Reshmi,

The Max Message Rate applies to the number of messages per second per Item sent by Lightstreamer serve to each client, regardless of their size.
But please also note that generally the scenario with very large messages involves some specific settings in Lightstreamers servers in order to optimize transmission time (ie. enlarging send_buf parameter).

    Regards,
    Giuseppe
