Reconnection attempts fail

Just to add some new info.
I fixed a couple of problems in my code and reconnection after first failure has never failed again since then.

I don't know how emiliob implemented the recovery, btw we implemented such mechanisms in our Java Swing Demo.
The Java and Silverlight APIs are very similar, you may want to take a look to that demo and try to implement it yourself.
