Streaming connections limit
We are planning to buy and use Lightstreamer solution, so we have a question. In your Lightstreamer_Paradigm.pdf document there is a phrase “The architecture of Lightstreamer Server can sustain thousands of concurrent streaming connections for each CPU”, but we need a more concrete information.
How many streaming connections can Lightstreamer sustain on Core2Duo 2,4GHz approximately?

The sustained load depends on many variables, besides the hardware characteristics. The most important variable is the outbound event throughput and the average message sizes. For these reasons, it is better to run specific simulations for the necessary scenarios.
Since you are interested in the commercial versions of Lightstreamer, please get back to info@lightstreamer.com for further information.
