You can find LS java client library jar files within Lightstreamer package, under the
DOCS-SDKs\sdk_client_java_se\lib
directory.
Note that the library can only be used with the Presto and Vivace editions of Lightstreamer
and it is not included at all in the Moderato version of the package.

Java Client connect to Lightstreamer
Good afternoon Support Team
I have a client that have requested that I write a Java Client for him that can connect to
Lightstreamer/3.6 build 1463 Moderato edition to collect forex data.
I would like to know if this is possible? See the post below was written is 2009 and the reply was that the jars does not work on the Moderato edition.
I would like to connect either via the J2SE client or the J2ME client. I have tried to use the HTTPUnit (httpunit.sourceforge.net) classes but it fail at a certain point.
Apache HTTP Client might also be an option.
Kind regards
Heinie

The limitation is still in place.
A Server in Moderato edition does not support the communication protocol used by the java client SDK; on the other hand, the communication protocol used by Html Clients is a private one.
