    Hi Hassan,

I think it is a good idea, in my opinion you have experienced too many strange behaviors in your system, so a fresh installation looks like a good choice in that case. Please get back to us once you have news.

    Regards,
    Gianluca

Dears, also there are something strange happend with me,
    I Installed "DotNetStockListDemo" to test that my machine reaches your server correctly. I Noticed that when running the demo from shortcut on desktop it connects and streams data successfully as showen {PIC1}, but when running from the "DotNetStockListDemo" allocated in the installation directory "C:\Program Files (x86)\Weswit Srl\Lightstreamer .NET Stock-List Demo" did not connect and no data has been streamed as {PIC2}

kindly find the following screen shots for details

    PIC1:

I do not know how that comes and the two paths refer to the same exe?
Is that helps in finding cause of not working RTD?
    Thanks and Best regards,
    Hassan A. Shehata

    Hi Hassan,

the two cases are not related.

Starting the client application from the installation directory is not the proper way to test the demo, because the executable needs a parameter to specify the target Lightstreamer server, as the shortcut does.

If you want to launch the demo from the installation directory, open a command prompt and then execute the following command:

    c:\Program Files (x86)\Weswit Srl\Lightstreamer .NET Stock-List Demo\DotNetStockListdemo.exe push.lightstreamer.com 80

If not specified, port 80 is the default value.

After that, you should see data streaming on the window.

    Regards,
    Gianluca

    Hi Hassan,

try to identify differences in settings and configurations on machines where the demo is not working and let us know if you need any further support.

    Regards,
    Gianluca
