iPhone Native Client
An iPhone native client for Lightstreamer has been released as an open-source project. It is fully compatible with Cocoa Touch and the iPhone SDK 2.1 and requires Lightstreamer Presto or Vivace on the server side.
More info on the iStreamLight project home.

This is great news!
Does Weswit intend to build this into the Lightstreamer SDK? If not, does it support the open-source library?
Also, what is the minimum required edition of Lightstreamer Server for accepting connections from an iPhone client using this library? According to the product editions page, a Presto of Vivace license is required to support thick clients, is the iPhone library considered to be a thick client?
Thanks!

Hi Pascal,
This iPhone SDK for Lightstreamer was developed as an open-source project by an independent developer, so it not currently supported by Weswit. But I don't exclude in the future we could develop and support an official iPhone SDK.

Thanks for the quick reply!
Could you elaborate on the server requirements for using the iPhone open source library?
Thanks,
Pascal
