Yeah Mone,
i'm reading right now the following text in DOCS-SDKs\sdk_adapter_dotnet\README.txt ...
"This directory includes the resources needed to write Data Adapters and
Metadata Adapters for Lightstreamer Server in a .NET environment.
The adapters will run in a separate process, communicating with the Server
through the Adapter Remoting Infrastructure."
What is "Adapter Remoting Infrastructure" that you mean in README file? Is the Remoting from .NET to use components installed in other servers?
I will try to understand more about how LS works by reading the documentation files and then may i have some "real" doubts...
Thanks,
Rafael

Hi Rafael
The "Adapter Remoting Infrastructure" is language independent and is barely a custom text communication protocol that mimics the Data and Metadata Adapter interfaces and exposes them over socket connections.
The .NET Remote Adapters use this text protocol in order to communicate with Lightstreamer Server, where a standard "proxy adapter", provided by Lightstreamer, takes care of the translation.
The DOCS-SDKs\sdk_adapter_remoting_infrastructure directory contains all about this topic.
