using light streamers to web scrape real time data

Hi, I am just wondering if it possible to use light streamers to scrape real time data off of a public viewable website.

Lightstreamer allows you to transport data, so you must have acquired your data first.
Getting the data and forwarding to Lightstreamer, in order to have it distributed to the clients, is the job of the Data Adapter, but this is a custom component that you have to code and plug in.
