Hi
How i can get a free license for Allegro/Presto/Vivace in LightStreamer 4.1?
This link GetEvalLicense not work?

Are you already logged in when you try to get the eval license?
can you try to follow the link when you are already registered?

Hi Giuseppe,

I too am not able to download a LS Moderato 4.0 license from the website (at this link). It always asks me to insert login information even if I'm already logged id.

Is it still possible to download such kind of license?

Once you are asked to login again, please, refresh the page.

Let us know if you get the license correctly.

Same to me.

It keep redirect to the forum after I click on the "Get your free license for Lightstreamer Moderato 4.0" (on http://www.lightstreamer.com/getFreeLicense.htm)

I have been using Moderato for over a year, but recently our engineer replaced one of the network adapter and now it detected another MAC address. I suppose I need to get a new license... Please, this is urgent.

Please try these steps to get your free license:

_ go to http://www.lightstreamer.com/getFreeLicense.htm

_ sign in

_ once you are redirect to the Lighstreamer forum homepage go manually to http://www.lightstreamer.com/vb/ls_free_request.php

_ refresh the page (press F5)

_ accepts the software license agreement and get the license.

Anyway, please consider to upgrade to Lightstreamer Moderato 5.0 that runs in FREE mode without any license file.

Hi nguyenbuu,

Please consider that since the 5.0 version to use Lightstreamer Moderato, you don't need to get a license key anymore.
However, if you need to evaluate Lightstreamer "Allegro/Presto/Vivace" edition, please consider that the server runs in Demo mode without a license key, allowing a maximum of 20 concurrent users.

I have a similar issue but with an older version (3.6), I will need to renew the free license, but there is no more link showing how to do that. Would it be possible to have a key that will always work?

There is always a risk with deploying a new version and it is something we would rather avoid.

I confirm that you should upgrade to the latest version (5.x). Older versions (3.6 and 4.x) are no more maintained, thus opening the door to security risks and browser incompatibility issues, which are much higher than upgrade risks.

None of the free license URLs work as of 4/30/2013. Can you please enable a way for people to get licenses for the old version? Not everyone can update to 5.1 right away.

My client consolidating their services into other servers. There is a project we had been using Moderato 4 2 years back, and it works fine. But we need a new license to make the system works on the new server. Please kindly help.

Hi,

Actually, as already pointed out in a previous post, since older versions are not maintained any more, you should upgrade to the latest version (5.x).
You can download the latest Lightstreamer Moderato version at http://www.lightstreamer.com/download and you can use it for free even in production environments and does not require any license key.
Anyway, you may contact info@lightstreamer.com for any question or doubt about licenses or for general enquiries on Lightstreamer and for sales information.
