Could not check license

Hello,

When I startup lightstreamer on my computer, the log said it could not check license and will be shut down after 60 mins. The free license file already obtained from lightstreamer.com. My computer has 2 LAN cards, Do you have any idea why it cannot be check?

You probably upgraded to Lightstreamer Server v.3.5 but did not got a new license (licenses issued for Lightstreamer v.3.4 are not compatible with v.3.5.).

Just get a new license from http://www.lightstreamer.com/downloadfree.htm

I just get another license from www.lightstreamer.com/downloadfree.htm but still have the same problem. Please advise.

The license check may fail on some platforms.
If you are not using java 6, then moving to java 6 should improve the check.
Otherwise, please provide us with details on your hardware and operating system.

I am using java 5 now. The operation system and Hardware info as follow:

Operating system : Linux / Debian

Kernel: Linux linux 2.6.18-amd64-hidden #1 SMP Mon Sep 1 16:41:06 HKT 2008 x86_64 GNU/Linux

JVM : Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.5.0_14-b03) Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 1.5.0_14-b03, mixed mode)

CPU: 6.23.6 "Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5420 @ 2.50GHz"

The license check for linux and amd64 was supposed to work.
May we ask you to upgrade to Java 6 in order to solve the issue?
